- Turn on /off
Press the tail cap halfway to momentarily ACTIVATE the light. Click the tail switch to turn the light on and off. - Change modes
Five modes in total: firefly, low, medium, high, and strobe. When the light is on, single press the side switch to rotate among firefly, low, medium and high. Long press to get strobe and then single press to end it. Memory function: The light will turn on in the last mode accessed, except for strobe. - Memory Function
Memory function to set any mode(except for strobe) for immediate use. - Battery Replacement
Take off the tail cap, insert the battery with positive polarity toward the LED assembly(head of the light) INSTALL the tail cap and tighten all the way to operate the light.

Almost 5 years later and Still Great!
I posted about this flashlight in 2017 and I still carry the same light...every day It's never let me down and is perfect for me. After my 2017 post, I bought 2 more to have as spares. They're still in the boxes as the original is still going strong.
Battery life is great, perfect size for a front pocket and this light does it all. The Only thing I'd change... add a magnetic tail cap. I have other lights that have those... And I still just carry my Archer 1A V3. It's that good. -

The user interface is so easy to work with. It's intuitive with a very wide and usable range from moonlight (I use this at night so as not to wake anyone up or bang into things) to 400+ lumens using a 14500 Li-ion battery. I love the flexibility to use AA alkaline or nimh rechargeable too. It seem seems very solid and well-built. I got the neutral white version as that is my temperature preference.

Archer 1A 3V
I'm completely satisfied with this small yet powerful flashlight.... I use a rechargeable 14500 battery in it and the output is impressive. The quality of this little Flashlight is apparent.... As is the workmanship... Thru-nite has hit another homerun.... I highly recommend this beauty.

My second 1A V3.
As the title implies this is my 2nd 1a v3. I've carried one for 4+ years on a daily basis. Used it every night on fire fly mode on bathroom trips and at higher lumens on nightly walks. Couldn't be happier with this flashlight.

Good pocket light
Good pocket light. Little pricy for such a small light but good that it runs on standard AA batteries. Exceptional Thrunite quality as expected.

Great flashlight
This flashlight is great, bright and compact just like I expected it to be. The only downside to ordering this product was the customer service and shipping. It took 17 working days, so two and a half weeks for the flashlight to arrive (I live in the EU). After ordering the product I waited 7 working days and I still had not gotten a notice about my product being shipped. When I wrote to the customer service asking nicely, what has happened to my package and when will it be shipped out, the customer service provider was very harsh and rather rude in tone and said my product was shipped and it will arrive on a certain date. It arrived a week later after promised. I am happy it finally arrived and the flashlight itself is great. The customer service and shipping were very unpleasant. It would have been completely fine if I was notified the proper date and had a polite answer to my question.

Handy little light
Nice little light easy to carry everyday like that your brightness setting stays like the no tool reversable pocket clip its light enough to clip to the brim of a ball cap that it runs on AA batteries is one of the big reasons i got this particular model i would recomend this to anyone looking for a small cary light

Fantastic!
I've carried, and used my Archer 1A V3 every day for the past 9 months and Love It! It's reliable, durable and the battery seems to last forever! I love the that it takes the easy to find AA and I'm only on my second battery in 2017!
