A must have on keychain!

Saw the giveaways for the ti3 v2 so i had to take advantage of it. Got one in cw and one in nw to replaced the older ones i have had for about five years now which are the ti christmas edition and the ti3 v1. Other than it being a little banged up and scratched, they work flawlessly. bright enough for most every day tasks and as long as the battery has juice i know they will work. Very reliable and well made. Thrunite products are built to last.

Had the same model and same specs of the TI3 Giveaway torch that was offered for the price of shipping only. What a good deal! So I can say that this is a great little EDC torch. The only problem I had was the chain/ring attachment that kept the thing on my keychain wore out after a few years - which is reasonable. Never did get to test how deep underwater I could take it without flooding. A foot or two was fine. I do suggest a thin coat of silicone jell on the "O" ring as you would do with any dive light.
Overall a for the price of shipping an almost unbelievable deal! And even if total cost were $15 - $20 not a bad one. Only wish they had a torch with and IXP rating of 9 - meaning it could go down to 1 ATM under water (33 feet of seawater) at this size!
small and easy to use

very small and super easy to use.
Good EDC/keychain but neutral is too warm.

I have several ThruNite flashlights throughout my home and have given many as gifts to friends and family. All of them have excellent build quality and I consider them to be a good value.
The Ti3 V2 is no exception, especially with the free promotion (+ shipping). Perfect size for a key-chain and gets bright enough for most tasks.
The only complaint I have is that the 'Neutral White' is closer to a warm white. It's far warmer then any of my other lights and I'd estimate it to be around 3500k which is too warm for my taste. I still plan on using the light but would have preferred something in the 4500-5000k range.
Ease of Use

Attached my Thrunite Ti3 with my keys for a permanent emergency light. And it is perfect for Foreign Object Damage (FOD) inspection tool. Thanks.
Best pocket flashlight

The ThruNite Ti3 V2 XP-G2 is the best overall pocket flashlight I have found.
had been a great light before but V2 version has ruined the usability :-(
Posted by Carsten on 15th Feb 2019
The older version before V2 has been great in all aspects, there are many positive reviews about it already - so I'm not wasting time on that here.
The new V2 has obviously a modified user interface which lost the function "always start on firefly after 10 sec off". Before, you could be sure not to glare yourself at night and choose as much light as needed subsequently, now you'll always have to take care which mode comes up - that's a serious drawback when you're in night environments (camping, hunting, cinema, ...).
Apart from that there are some mechanical changes (slight length reduction, modification to thread, ...). In particular the thread has some play now which may cause the light to turn on just by pressing on the head: it moves in a bit and flashes up. Before, the thread was rigid and no movement has been possible except by intentional turning.
I'll try to get some old ones now to have a least a few more years fun with them.
@Thrunite: pls do seriously consider to review the UI and design...
Let there be light!

I have only used it for about 8 nights on the trail but really like this guy. In low range, it is just enough to let me walk out of the tent at night and see where I am going. I usually do camp chores, preparing the stove/breakfast and cleaning up after supper. Mid range is sometimes needed for finding those items that seem to walk away and hide at night. I never use the high mode.
The clip can easily be flipped over for night hiking and fits next to the control turret without sticking out! Wow, it must've been designed that way! Thanks!
GREAT - BUT(revised)

I originally ordered the Cool White version but due to production delays and possibly never getting one, was sent the Neutral White. Everything about the Ti3 is great except the neutral white is too warm for me, thus my 4 star rating.
Then by surprise a couple of weeks later a package showed up with a Cool White Ti3, wow. Thanks Thrunite for sending me another Ti3, great customer service.
The best key chain flashlight!

Great - But

The size and function is great, nice to have 3 illumination modes and a reversible pocket clip so it can be clipped to a hat brim. Great packaging. However, due to lack of supply the “cool white” was not available so a “neutral white” was sent as a substitution. I find it a bit too yellow for my liking, thankfully it is a keychain EDC so all is not lost.
The Ti-3 great EDC light
Posted by Unknown on 4th Jul 2017
It works like a charm, is well constructed, light/unobtrusive to carry, has sufficient output, and 3 easily selected modes. It should last a long time. I am well pleased and can recommend it without reserve.

My Ti-3 rides comfortably in my pocket attached to my multitool. On its low setting, it's perfect for unobtrusively finding my keys without waking my wife; on its brightest setting, it's one of the brightest lights I have.Best light around for size and price.
great little light!

I own about 20 flashlights. I had a dumb habit of buying cheap, Chinese flashlights that claim insane Lumens, but rarely delivered. Best feature to me is firefly mode. This is perfect for many needs. I also love the twist on feature. This makes the light more compact. I was a Fenix fan, but after having an E01 for one day and dropping it from 3 feet onto a tile floor, that was the end of that. Fenix was no help in getting it replaced. The only thing that comes to mind that perhaps does not make sense is that this is essentially the same light as the T01 that sells for $7. So, you are paying $9 extra for the added modes. But, no complaints. It is worth the money.
