5 Excellent all purpose flashlight.

As a third shift maintenance mechanic, this baby is slick, small, and quick to light up any situation I come across. The mode settings are finely spaced, with easily accessible turbo and strobe settings. The firefly is just icing on the cake when I need something easy on the eyes late at night. I can proudly say I'm not afraid of dropping it from a ladder, or if it falls into a toilet bowl; it's built to survive. Best investment I've made in a long time.

5 Very nice

This is a very nice light. I ordered it based on the power source flexibility and dimming feature. During hunting season it will be in my pack. Being able to turn on directly to the firefly mode will be a plus for hunting. Very good construction, nice packaging and quick delivery. Very pleased with my first ThruNite product.

5 Mine Explorer's Light
Posted by Ed on 5th Dec 2018
This is the 2nd one of these lights I've bought. I bought this one because I couldn't find the first one I bought.
A day before this one showed up, I found my original one!! The new and old ones are identical, both of high quality, and throw a good amount of light, for a long time, on a single 18650 battery.
Depending on your needs, you can 'tweak' this light by picking different types of 18650's (aftermarket). The included one is great, but some 18650's will allow for a higher current draw, while others will more slowly step down in voltage and supply constant current for much longer. What this mean is longer run times in certain modes or less PWM from the light.
I use these lights, and a TC20, for exploring old underground mines in CA and NV. I can easily get 4 hours of usable light with the included 18650. With the TC20, I can max out my underground time to 6-7 hours.

5 Some confusion at first
Posted by Richie on 7th Oct 2018
easy one handed use, i like its size fits nicely in the inner pocket of my jacket. i was confused at first when i tried to charge it and realized later on i had to remove the paper stopping contact between flashlight and battery.

5 Quality Customer Service
Posted by Unknown on 19th Aug 2018
I ordered from Thrunite several weeks ago. I didn't receive it as soon as I thought I would, but I gave it a week or so. When it became apparent that the flashlight wasn't coming, I sent an email to Thrunite explaining the situation. They verified my order and had the flashlight to me within a week.
I enjoyed the light for the brief time that I had it before losing it in Ape Cave in Southern Washington, but hey. That's how it goes.
Quality service, quality light. Will buy again. -
5 Very nice flashlight
Posted by Kavin on 10th Aug 2018
I quite like this flashlight. I use it mainly as a headlight for my bike and boy does it light up the road. Taking it off the mount, it's a fantastic flashlight to use thanks to its adjustable brightness. One small issue is that riding on very bumpy terrain can cause unprotected 18650 cells (like Samsung 30Qs) to shake and disconnect for a fraction of a second; however, the light will continue to stay on. Protected cells (like the included one) don't have this issue.

4 Great Flashlight, With One Small Flaw
Posted by J. Doe on 5th Jun 2018
This is a really great flashlight for technical theater. With a quick double press, you can access turbo mode for looking at things high up, and with a press and a hold you can use firefly mode, for seeing things backstage. The infinity brightness mode is very good too, allowing you to pick a brightness and then remember it next time you turn it on.
My one problem with this light is the button. It is very hard to find quickly because it is not too large and not pronounced. Apart from this small thing, this would be my ideal light. -
5 Great everyday carry light
Posted by BM on 11th May 2018
I have had this flashlight for a month now and love it. The deep carry clip is great. There is just enough of the end to grab to get it out of your pocket. The many different light modes is another great feature. With the infinity setting it gives you plenty of light from 12 to 650 lumens. Firefly is great for walking around the house of up close jobs. With 2 clicks you have turbo and 1100 lumens is crazy bright. I don't use strobe if at all so I like how its 4 clicks to get to strobe from off. All my previous lights have had tailcap switches so it was a little different for me but I got over that very fast. This is by far my favorite light.
Only con I have with it is the on/off switch is not very pronounced. So at night i find myself fumbling to find the switch. Now I just find the micro USB port and on the other side of that is the switch. Or you can set the pocket clip up so the clip is inline with the switch just a few little things I found to help myself.
