5 Ti3
Posted by TS BHOGAL on 2nd Jul 2021
Awesome little flashlight - I have 3 of these - they are my favourite thrunite flashlight in addition to archer 1av3 and 2av3. Superb flood beam and nice neutral tint. My 1st one bought in 2018 had next mode memory which is a real pain but the newer ones always start in firefly thank goodness! How to make it better? Add a low battery warning to the Ti3 and Archer series. Well done thrunite!

Fantastic, tiny light! It even has modes! Low, Med, High, and Strobe. Illumination for all occasions. Smooth action when turning the light. All my friends and family are getting one.

Solid made and works great. Like that its small so its easy to carry and has a nice clip to boot. Impressed for the price that there are different light settings like more expensive lights.

5 Awesome little light

What a surprise! A great little light. It's much brighter and tougher than I thought. I bought two of these and I accidently dropped one of them off a 4 story balcony onto hard blacktop and it still works fine. I've been EDCing it ever since. I'd love to get the opertubity to review more of their products.

I like the light, its robust, has a great output, and easy to carry in my pocket. Its easy to pull out of my pocket to see the trail to the shop at night, or to look at something up close where you need a little more light. Its Great!!

Very happy with the light. Love all the modes. Clip is difficult to put on but I think that is a good thing as it won't come loose.

5 Strong Product

Well designed and dependable product. I've purchased their AA flashlights and has never had a problem. There are plenty of other brands that sell aluminum flashlights but their electronics go bad in a year or two. The branded products you get at the local store will often charge the same or more for a worse product so I'm always skeptical of those. So this ends up being the best option.
I got this during a flashsale - so I didn't pay full retail price, but its worth the retail price if you need something dependable.
There are definitely cheaper options out there if you want something for 6 months / throw away type scenarios.
Tip: I wouldn't leave an alkaline battery in one of these flashlights and just forget about it. They tend to leak and would corrode the insides. Get this if you need to use it regularly (and thus need to occasionally replace the battery). Or put in rechargables. -
5 Always in my pocket!

I carried the first version of this light in my pocket every day for more than 4 years. It went through the wash, sat in hot tubs, got dropped countless times yet was always able when I needed it. I have every reason to expect the new one to be the same only just a touch better. The new LED is just a bit brighter and has a touch nicer beam pattern.
I have a number of lights yet this one is in many ways my favorite. It is my favorite because it is always with me. Really don't notice it in my pocket. Has an excellent moonlight so that I can move around without disturbing my SO, etc. The mid mode is also a great balance between run time and useful light. More light than my old 2 - AA maglite and it will do it around 8 hours or so. High is just plain impressive for such a little light. I use nimh rechargeable and just frequently swap them so I always have light when I want it.
I walk my dogs every night in the dark and pick up after them. If I am going to wear a hat with a brim, the Ti3 is my headlamp and it is fantastic! (I also have a couple of headlamps including the TH20 but if I am going to wear a hat I would rather just clip the Ti3 to the brim.)
Having used a lot of flashlights I have to say that Thrunite makes great flashlights. Very happy with every model of theirs that I have.
There are only two things I would say that aren't positive about the Ti3. 1. Some people just don't like twisty switch lights and it can take some getting used to. Worth the effort in my opinion as the size and reliably make it better than a click switch for this type of light.
2. Some of these, may have an inconsistent UI. I have several and only 1 does this and it doesn't do it all the time but sometimes it comes on in mid mode instead of moonlight. Just have to learn to turn it on in your hand if you really need the moonlight. Atypical behavior for a thrunite product but I am more than willing to live with it because over all the light is fantastic! -
5 I urge you to find me a better flashlight at this price point. None exists.

i have bought like seven of these and will possibly buy more to give out as gifts because it is the best possible flashlight at this price point and form factor. It is a lightweight quality product. The knurling and powder coating on the flashlight is impeccable and it is a joy to use. The beam is even and does not have hot spots or wierd yellowing in center like some other flashlights. I first tried it with AAA Alkaline batteries and the output was sufficient, then on a whim I tried AAA Energizer Lithium single use batteries and the output will blow you away. I have tons of other pocket flashlights Fenix, Lumintop, FourSevens, Olight, Aidier, Ultratac etc and this is by far the best. Absolute value for money and one of the best products I have ever purchased. You have to hold one in your hand to notice the quality, The pictures dont do justice. The threading on the head is absolutely top notch, the only one that comes close is Fenix E05 which is quite an old design and much more expensive for no good reason. Thrunite shipping is also fast. I dont know about their Customer service , I assume it is top notch, because I have never had an issue with their products and I like it that way. This is part of my EDC now.
